Hmmm... Perhaps the human world is only a legend amonst most of the foxes, but now something has happened and an old prohecy is coming true, and now the foxes and the few humans that stumble through must either choose good or evil in this conflict, and each fox and human become companions taht share a funky bond.

sounds good. of course, there can also be characters that don't interact with the other world if the RPer wants it that way.

How about,well foxes do have relitives of the dog family at hand don't they what about wolves come trying to drive them out of something.....oh I don't know!! But I'm sure something will come to mind! ^_^

And some logging company could be trying to get rid of the forest on the Earth side. The Pond would be ignored and some pollutents would seep through to Anlakari. characters could be aware of this and be working to stop it.

Alright, here goes. The town has just been built. It is suburban in the residential area, so it is modern. Everything is new. Any stores you want to be there can be posted here. There is a K-8 school, a high school, and a college. There is a small forest that the town is built close to. In that forest is The Pond, a portal leading to Anlakari. In Anlakari the foxes are the dominant species and have the ability of speech. The Anlakari side of The Pond is identical to Earth's side for 30 yards around. Anlakari's forest has many clearings which the foxes inhabit. The fox society is positioned so that the ones who are the most fit are in charge. There is a small amount of magic involved in their society. Due to the magic some of the foxes are born different. (e.g. having wings) Some foxes have amulets that appear out of nowhere when no one is looking. The fox is then expected to find what this amulet gives them the power to do. There are common amulets bestowing accelerated speed, unusual strength, etc. Occasionally an unknown amulet will pop up, causing some grand quest to start. And very rarely an amulet will appear signifying the presence of a human counterpart. These two can merge together in times of need, but only while in the same world. Occasionally a fox will come from a different part of Anlakari. (e.g. mountains, desert, etc.) On Earth there is a logging company that wants to cut down the forest. It possibly has a human heading it who knows about Anlakari and has an evil fox counterpart there. They both want to take over the world. Typical. You can be on either side of this conflict or you can be neutral.
